2. Do not place the candle on polished, painted or varnished surfaces, on electrical equipment, near or on heat sources.
3. Do not place the candle near drafts.
4. Before lighting the candle, cut the wick to about 0.5 cm.
5. Never light the candle on or near flammable materials.
6. Always extinguish the flame without blowing on it.
7. Keep lit candles out of the reach of children and pets.
8. Never leave a lighted candle unattended.
9. Make sure that loose wax is free of matches and other debris to avoid flames.
10. Always leave a space of at least 6 inches/15cm between two lit candles..
11. Do not move a lit candle.
12. Never use liquid to extinguish them.
